Early 20th Century Pair of Gustavian-Style White Swedish Armchairs

Pair of early 20th-century Swedish armchairs in the Gustavian style. Pine frames feature a scraped antique-white painted finish with light natural wood showing through. Carved details accent the arms, skirt, and back, complemented by fluted, tapered front legs.

Restored, strong, and stable, with light signs of age. Upholstered in simple muslin, the seats are stained and ready for re-covering at the buyer’s discretion. Old cracks and repairs are visible along the arm joints and decorative curved backs. The finish highlights the carved details, creating a timeless Gustavian aesthetic suitable for any interior.
