It is the raw, natural wood top that one finds intriguing in this rustic console table. It originally served as a work table, resulting in the appealing worn patina of the wood top due to the deep gouges, scrapes, stains and old cracks. The square peg/splay legs add to the appeal while the clean lines play well in a modern setting. This console table has been restored so it is strong/stable and was given a wax finish. While there is a slight bow/bend to the top it is level; guest can easily place wine glasses upon it.
