The generations of use are revealed in every old knot, nick, crack, etc. all resulting in the deep patina of the 3" thick top, made more interesting with the texture of old dried up wormholes throughout. 
The large functioning drawer is 16.75" deep and opens with a brass pull.
Restored, strong, stable, this has been given a wax finish and is ready to be placed and enjoyed.
All scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special console table.
