Original Blue Painted Swedish Corner Cupboard Cabinet dated 1806

This bow front pine corner cabinet still maintains its original blue hand-painted finish with simple floral details remaining along the panels and upper molding.
The original blue painted finish (with teal undertone) has a soft, worn patina aged over generations of use.Note much of the paint has worn down to the natural pine below, especially on the lower cabinet.
The date of 1806 and monogram of H A S indicate it may have originally been given as a wedding or dowry present.
This corner cupboard stands just under 7' tall and is made in two parts making transportation and installation easier.
Open the cabinet to reveal a soft yellow painted interior with fixed shelves and two drawers. The notched upper shelf was used to display silver spoons.
Professionally restored, this corner cabinet is strong and stable; all the doors are working well and the case has been finished with a natural wax.
Upper lock and key still function (key included); lower cabinet door works better with key used simply as a pull.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special Swedish corner cupboard.
