Ascribed to Jacques Courtois (b. Saint-Hippolyte 1621, d. Rome 1676).
Soldiers, horses, cannons, military flags/standards seen throughout and castle in background.
Condition: In need of cleaning; canvas will benefit from cleaning which we leave to discretion of buyer. Crackles and peelings, stains. Retouches.
Frames show age related distress/scratches, some paint loss.
