It has been given a newer, professionally applied steel gray painted finish with a contrasting brick red interior, updating the look and accented with brass hardware.
This secretary has been restored, all drawers function, desktop is solid and ready to be used and enjoyed. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (including drawer bottoms and back) are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely bureau/desk.
