The original painted finish has been worn and distressed through generations of use, with simple red border around blue painted panel; traditional brown background (with plum undertone).
Hinged top opens to reveal traditional interior "box" to hold small personal items.
Restored and waxed, this trunk is strong and ready for use. Aged separation of planks seen in top and interior bottom.
The trunk reveals wear, dings, nicks, worn/distressed paint, missing old lock, aged separations, etc.; none of which impact the function nor aged appeal of this trunk.
