The pine in this flat top trunk has grown warm with a patina that comes only from the passage of years and use. 
Note the hand-wrought iron corners, long straps/hinges, side handles, and decorative element around key hole. 
Restored, waxed, strong and stable, this trunk is ready to be used and enjoyed. The flat top allows it to serve as a small coffee table as well. No lock/key remaining.
