This large bleached oak bookcase is statuesque in size and is impressive with decorative carving including lions, figures, faces, floral medallions and more.
At just over 8' tall, the three shelves allow for great display of books or any collection held within.
This cabinet is built in 2 sections, making it easier to install the heavy oak lower cabinet with four doors and the upper cabinet with open shelving.
Shelves are secured in place with metal brackets, providing additional strength and stability.
Lower cabinet doors open easily and stay in place but have no lock. Skeleton key will be included to use as pull only.
This antique oak bookcase is restored, strong and stable, ready to be used and enjoyed. Age related cracks and signs of wear/distress are expected in an antique that has been used for generations such as this. 
All scratches, cracks (including interior shelf bottoms), dings, and age related separation (typical in old oak furniture; see back) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this impressive display cabinet. Old repairs visible to back (see photos).
