Fun and function combine in this free-standing pine counter with drawers. This delightful pine apothecary originally served as a shop counter or storage cabinet.
Counters similar to this were used throughout shops in European and are a great way to incorporate old world charm and craftsmanship into a modern home. The scuffs, nicks, dried old wormholes, etc. reflect many generations of use and add to its aged character.
This counter is is free-standing, allowing it to serve as a kitchen island in addition to unique console cabinet for hallway, mudroom, workshop, craft or sewing space.  
This pine counter is ready to be used as it has been restored, waxed and all drawers function. Three of the top drawers have interior dividers(see photo).
All scratches, cracks, dings, stains and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the appeal nor function of this old pine apothecary cabinet.
