This original oil on canvas portrait of a standing woman in evening wear is signed and dated in the lower left Vige 1909 (Jens Peder Olsen Vige 1864-1912). The canvas is mounted in a gold painted frame and inscribed on the back stretcher,  "Exhibited at Charlottenborg 1909."
