This lovely pine armoire still maintains the quality and details of the original hand-painted finish with background tones of soft blue.
Note in the crown/bonnet the monogram and date of 1810.
Large stars and floral details embellish the two doors with old hardware hinges and decorative pulls. Exterior metal latch holds right door in place.
Note the unique configuration of the interior shelving. 
This painted two-door cabinet has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to use. 
Age related wear of this 200 year old armoire includes dings, old repairs, cracks, nicks in wood (including lower right door area), scratches, age related separation to edges/planks, distress etc. while seen throughout the armoire do not detract from the beauty nor function of this wonderful folk-art find.
