The distress along the top reflects many generations of use including cracks,age-related separation of planks, dried old worm holes, stains, slight bowing,etc.
Restored, strong and stable, ready for use. One functioning key included. Old locks are often fussy, working stiffly and also loosly. Client may opt to use key as pull only.
