Late 18th Century Black Oak Vitrine Cabinet from Denmark

This Danish oak vitrine may be used as a display cabinet or bookcase. The upper pane glass doors and canted sides allow for lovely display of any collection held within.
The newer professionally applied black painted finish is distressed to fit the age and grace of the cabinet, revealing the natural wood below. The interior is painted in a contrasting dusky blue.
Notice in center of bottom cabinet, there are four small drawers and one upper shelf. This vitrine was likely used to display and store the family china and silver in a dining room of a well-to-do family.
Original locks currently function with 1 included key.
Restored, this cupboard (built in two sections) is stable and ready for use.
All scratches, cracks (seen throughout, including back), dings, and age related separation (especially back) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely cabinet. At some point in time, gauze was placed along separation of planks in back, perhaps to inhibit light or gaps to show when cabinet was open. Remains of old, dried worm holes also seen along the back.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed. Please ask for additional photos of specific areas of question or concern.
