The attractive soft color pallet of this Swedish pine cabinet or sideboard comes from the original hand-painted light gray finish which has been gently scraped and softly distressed through generations of use, resulting in the warm aged patina of the natural pine revealed below.
The fluted panel doors and corners reflect the Swedish country style of the era.
Interior (including 2 drawers) was painted a light bluish gray at some (newer) point in time.
Restored; this cabinet is strong, stable, and ready to be used and enjoyed. Old lock still functions with one key included.
Height listed is to the upper rim along back.
Scratches, old stains, cracks, dings and age related separations are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this timeless Swedish buffet.
