Early 19th Century Original Painted Swedish Mora Grandfather Clock

Early 19th-century Swedish Mora clock crafted in pine with an original brick-red-brown painted finish. The long case features hand-carved details, especially around the opening refered to as the "pendulum window." Distressed surface shows scuffs, wear, and light cracks typical for age. The original painted clock face and hands are intact. No keys. Holes seen along back are where original owners secured the clock to a wall for stability.
The case has been restored and is structurally sound; clockworks do not function, though any original mechanisms will be included with shipment. Many buyers choose to install a modern battery movement for ease of use.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this 7.5' tall grandfather clock.
