19th Century Heavily Carved English Oak Grandfather Clock

Early 19th-century English oak long-case clock with heavily carved embellishments and rich detail. Turned columns with brass caps frame the beveled glass door and elaborate clock face featuring brass filigree corner accents. An eagle finial crowns the top.
The oak case has been restored and remains strong and stable. Typical cracks, nicks, scuffs, and wear are visible throughout, especially near the base and around carved face. A newer back or frame was added to the back of the clock at some point in time.
Clockworks are non-functional, though any remaining original components are included with shipment. Many buyers choose to add a battery mechanism for modern use.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this grandfather clock.
