Three drawers, upper drawer decorated with painted Greek key motif and additional contrasting accents around other two drawers.
Restored, stable and ready for use, later professionally painted in layered shades of black and contrasting antique white, lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of the pair. 
Brass pulls are used to open each drawer, all of which function.
All scratches (see tops), cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this striking pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands. Backs were replaced at some point in time.
