19th Century Black Painted Danish Oak Side Table with Single Drawer

19th century Danish oak side table with a single drawer. Constructed of oak, the table features barley twist legs joined by a stretcher base. The black painted finish is quite old but not original to the table, with surface wear, nicks, and cracks visible throughout, particularly along the feet and stretcher. Old repaired cracks are present along the top, along with areas of dried wormhole activity and a slight bow to the surface. The single drawer is fitted with a drop metal pull and has no key or lock; the drawer opens easily and shows plank separation consistent with age. The piece has been restored and is structurally strong, stable, and ready for use.
