Mid-19th-century Swedish Gustavian-style sideboard cabinet crafted from oak and pine. The newer professionally applied antique white painted finish has light gray undertones and subtle distressing that enhances the form’s graceful simplicity. Features one top drawer with brass pull and a left cabinet door that latches internally (no working lock or key; a skeleton key is included for use as a pull). Fluted sides and diamond accents, entire cabinet rest on tapered fluted legs.
Restored, strong, and stable, ready for use and display. Age-related cracks and separations are visible along joints and panels; back panel likely replaced.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this Swedish cabinet that may also be used as a nightstand.
