Mid-19th Century Swedish Pine Cabinet

Mid-19th-century Swedish pine cabinet with a darker, aged finish and traditional construction. The upper section features two paneled cabinet doors secured with a functioning lock and key, accented by a brass escutcheon depicting cherubs holding a crown. Interior opens to two full-size shelves and an upper half shelf with notches, originally intended for displaying family silver.
Below are four drawers arranged as two shorter drawers above two longer drawers, each opening with brass pulls. No locks or keys are present for the drawers. Dovetail joinery is visible throughout. Initials “LES” are carved into the left side of the lower cabinet section, adding a personal historic detail.
Age-related plank separation is visible along the top, back, and drawer bottoms, with old repaired cracks and separations along the sides. Carved feet show similar age-related characteristics. Scratches, nicks, and surface wear are consistent with age and use. Built in three sections for easier transportation and installation. Restored, strong, and stable, ready for use.
