DUPLICATE NUMBER 18th Century Large Danish Black-Painted Oak Chest of Drawers

Large 18th-century Danish chest of drawers with oak drawer fronts and pine drawer sides and bottoms, reflecting traditional period craftsmanship. Drawer bottoms show historic separation that was restored at an earlier time. The chest has a newer professionally applied layered black painted finish, lightly distressed to reveal natural wood beneath and suit its age.
The chest rests on cabriole feet with a scalloped carved skirt. Four large drawers each feature two substantial brass pulls. There are no keys nor functioning locks. Typical age-related cracks and minor wood separation are visible along the sides and top.
Restored, strong, and stable, this chest is ready for use and offers bold presence with classic Danish form and generous storage.
