Early 19th Century Swedish Painted Pine Drop-Leaf Table Gate Leg Console

Early 19th-century Swedish pine drop-leaf table with gate-leg construction and a narrow, highly versatile form. The table features a newer professionally applied layered soft green painted finish with tones of pale blue and white, distressed to suit the age of the piece, creating an overall light seafoam green appearance.
The gate-leg base allows both leaves to be raised, making it suitable for use as a kitchen or dining table, while fully folded it becomes an exceptionally narrow console measuring only seven inches deep. The open dimensions are in the listing. This dual-purpose design makes it ideal for flexible and compact spaces.
Age-related wear includes old cracks, scratches, and small gouges visible along the top, all reflective of years of use. The table has been restored, is strong and stable, and the gate legs adjust easily to allow for flexible seating arrangements.
