Early 19th Century Swedish Pine Drop-Leaf Table

Early 19th-century Swedish pine drop-leaf table with gate-leg construction and a narrow, versatile form. The table features a newer professionally applied layered soft green painted finish, distressed to suit its age, resulting in an overall light seafoam tone.
The gate-leg base allows both leaves to be raised, creating a functional dining or kitchen table, while fully folded it becomes an exceptionally narrow console measuring approximately seven inches deep. This dual-purpose design makes it well suited for flexible spaces.
Age-related wear includes old cracks, scratches, and small gouges visible along the top, consistent with years of use. The table has been restored, is strong and stable, and the gate legs adjust easily to accommodate seating and layout needs.
