19th Century Tall Narrow French Pine Corner Cabinet

19th-century tall and narrow French corner cabinet crafted in pine with a deep, warm patina. The cabinet has a streamlined form with a subtly scalloped skirt and is finished with a natural wax that enhances the aged surface.
The door secures with a functioning lock and key, with the left door additionally held in place by a hook-and-eye closure. The interior opens to five shelves, which appear to have been replaced at some point in time and show age-related separation and cracking.
Typical scratches, gouges, and visible wormhole activity are present, particularly along the canted side, contributing to the character of the piece. The back shows age-related separation, cracks and old dried wormholes. Restored, strong, stable, and ready for use.
