19th-century Swedish pine apothecary counter featuring twenty-four drawers, originally likely used in a European shop in the later 1800s. Constructed of pine and raised on six black painted bun feet, this substantial piece is freestanding with paneled sides and back, making it well suited for use as a kitchen island or work counter.
A newer, professionally applied layered light gray painted finish with antique white undertones has been distressed throughout to reveal natural wood below, fitting the age and character of the piece. All drawers function smoothly and are fitted with simple brass pulls. Typical age-related scratches and dings are present throughout. The top shows separation between planks, though this is less noticeable due to the painted finish.
Restored strong, stable, and ready for use.
