Early 20th century pine bookcases offered as a matched pair. Each bookcase features two glass panel doors above a single long drawer. The cases are finished in a newer, professionally applied layered gray painted surface with subtle taupe undertones, distressed and aged to complement the character of the pair. Doors open to reveal three interior shelves each, providing deep and practical storage suitable for display. Original locks remain, though operation may be inconsistent; keys may be best used as pulls. Long crack separation is present along two exterior sides, scratches, nicks and wear consistent with age and use. The pair has been restored and is structurally strong, stable, and ready for use. Clean lines and restrained coloring define the overall form.
