Late 18th-Century Swedish Original Painted Pine Sideboard Cabinet

Late 18th-century Swedish original painted pine sideboard. Residual original painted finish remains throughout, with blue-painted panel backgrounds and traces of the original floral motifs, now largely worn down to the natural pine beneath. The narrow case rests on large bun feet and offers a compact yet charming presence.
Two cabinet doors open to reveal two interior shelves. The interior has been painted at a later date in light blue. The exterior pine shows a deep, rich patina developed over generations of use. Scratches, gouges, nicks, cracks, and darkened areas consistent with age are visible throughout; these appear as honest wear rather than damage and do not impact the function or stability of the piece.
The sideboard has been restored, is strong and stable, and has been finished with a wax treatment that enhances the natural warmth of the pine. A genuine Swedish country piece with understated charm and authentic surface history.
