19th-Century Danish Mahogany Biedermeier Armchairs with Carved Swans

Pair of 19th-century Danish mahogany Biedermeier armchairs featuring elegant curved arms that terminate in scrolls and a gently curved seat front. The backs sweep in a subtle saber shape, complemented by turned and fluted front legs. Beneath the arms, carved swan motifs accented with gold gilt detailing add a dramatic decorative element.
The chairs are upholstered in black fabric on both seat and back, enhancing the timeless silhouette and providing immediate usability. Minor nicks and scratches are present, consistent with age. The pair has been restored, is strong, stable, and ready to use, offering a striking and refined seating option.
