Early 19th-Century Swedish Original Painted Pine Sideboard Cabinet

Early 19th-century Swedish pine cabinet sideboard retaining its original painted finish. The background presents both blue and green aged paint. The two door panels feature traditional floral motifs in red, blue, yellow, and white, outlined with green leaf detailing and framed with aged red-orange trim. The cabinet includes two upper drawers over two doors and rests on front bun feet.
Distress to the painted surface is visible throughout, with areas of natural pine showing through. The top shows typical scratches, gouges, and stains consistent with age. The original lock and key no longer function. The right door is secured with an interior metal clip, and the left door is held with a newer interior locking mechanism. The interior offers spacious storage, with age-related separation visible along the upper shelf. The sideboard has been restored, is strong, stable, and ready for use. The worn finish contributes to the authentic character of this Swedish country piece.
