19th-century Swedish pine highboy featuring six drawers, with the bottom drawer deeper than those above for additional storage. The case has lightly canted side trim topped with carved detailing, adding subtle architectural interest. The chest rests on traditional front bun feet and is finished in natural pine enhanced with a wax finish that brings out the warmth and grain of the wood.
Each drawer operates smoothly and is fitted with two brass pulls. Small gouges, cracks, and minor signs of old dried wormhole activity are visible throughout, consistent with age and use, and do not impact function. The chest has been restored, is strong, stable, and ready for use.
