19th-Century Swedish Carved Pine Black Painted Armchairs

Pair of 19th-century Swedish carved armchairs crafted in pine, featuring scrolled arms, turned front legs, carved backs, and stretcher supports that contribute to their graceful Swedish styling. A newer matte black finish gives the chairs a dramatic and updated presence while highlighting the carved detail.
Typical age-related nicks and minor cracks are visible throughout, consistent with generations of use. A repair is present to a crack on one right arm. The upholstery appears to have been replaced relatively recently, allowing the chairs to be placed and used immediately, or easily reupholstered to suit a different interior preference. The pair has been restored, is strong, stable, and ready for use.
