18th-century French oak sideboard featuring traditional provincial carving with floral, vine, and leaf motifs throughout. Two narrow upper drawers sit above two cabinet doors, each detailed with classic French escutcheons. The key remains and functions in the original lock.
The scalloped skirt is centered with a carved sunflower medallion, and each door panel displays refined carved detail typical of the period. Age-related wear, including surface distress, scratches, cracks, stains, and residual wormhole activity, is visible throughout and consistent with its age. Separation of planks is present along both sides, and an old repair is visible around the front right leg. The piece has been restored, is strong, stable, and ready for use.
