A charming pine wall rack retaining much of the original folk art red painted tulip/floral design on a dark blue background. Where the paint has been worn and faded from decades of use, the natural pine comes through. Originally this served as a plate rack; note the narrow grooves in the 3 shelves. The bottom shelf has 10.5" tall space, and narrows to 7.5" high space on the top shelf. Five wooden pegs below the shelves were traditional space to store coffee cups.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and distress to finish are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this original painted hanging shelf.
