20th century Danish bookcase crafted in walnut. The upper cabinet features glass panes allowing display of books or any collection. Handsome turned columns flank the upper doors. The cabinet includes three adjustable shelves providing flexibility for display or storage. The lower cabinet doors feature burled wood veneer panels adding visual interest and contrast.
This display cabinet rests on front bun feet. Carved heavy dentil molding accents the crown, while fluted carving typical of Danish design runs across the central drawer.
Three keys and locks are present but operate stiffly; it is recommended the buyer use the keys as pulls only.
Typical scratches, nicks, and cracks are visible throughout but do not impact the function or visual appeal of the cabinet. The bookcase has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready for use.
