Early 19th century tall French sideboard crafted in oak and finished with a bleached surface that gives the wood a lighter appearance.
The cabinet features carved panel doors with fluted detailing between the doors. The crown displays decorative vine carving with flowers and leaves. A scalloped skirt and carved feet further accent the form.
The lock and key still function. The doors open to reveal interior shelving for storage.
A small gap is visible above the left door. Cracks and age-related separation of planks are present but do not impact the function of the cabinet. The top shows older repairs, stains, nicks, and signs of old dried wormholes. Similar wear and distress are visible along the sides and back, with wormhole evidence along the back that does not affect the strength or function.
The cabinet has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready for use.
