19th century Swedish Gustavian corner cabinet crafted in pine. The cabinet features bowfront doors with fluted carving and decorative diamond accents across all four doors.
While old, the painted finish is not original and presents in earth tones of russet, green, red, and ocher throughout.
The upper section is raised and accented by carved floral elements flanking the left and right sides. The upper cabinet retains its original lock and key, which still function. The interior is painted a newer light mint green.
Inside, the upper section includes four shelves of varying depth, with an upper notched shelf originally used to display family sterling silver spoons. The lower cabinet opens to reveal an upper shelf, and a metal snap has been added to secure the bottom right door.
Typical age-related separation is visible in the bottom, along the back, and in some of the shelving. Cracks, scratches, and nicks are present throughout but do not impact function.
Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use.
