Early 19th Century Danish Pine large Chest of Four Drawers with Original Painted Finish

Early 19th century Danish chest of four drawers crafted in pine. The chest retains its original painted finish in tones of brick red with brown undertones.
Drawer edges and side corners are trimmed in contrasting black. The upper crown features a simple scalloped profile with painted detail in pale green/antique white.
The chest rests on a lower frame with heavy carved dentil molding.
Each drawer is fitted with two brass ring pulls and opens to reveal interior bottoms showing typical age-related separation of planks.
The original locks are no longer present, though evidence remains at the center top drawer where a lock was once installed.
The top and sides show age-related cracks, nicks, and gouges, with additional separation visible along the back and signs of old dried wormhole activity (non-active).
The chest has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. A strong example of Scandinavian country craftsmanship retaining its original surface.
