Pair of 19th century Danish column cabinets crafted with mahogany veneer in the late Biedermeier style.
Each cabinet features bowfront doors flanked by decorative corbel-shaped carved elements with acanthus leaf carving below. Both cabinets include an upper and lower drawer and rest on block feet.
The doors open to reveal three interior shelves with slightly curved edges designed to follow the bowfront form.
Locks function inconsistently; keys are present and may best be used as pulls.
The cabinets have been restored and are strong, stable, and ready for use.
Age-related wear includes cracks along the sides and tops, along with old repairs to the veneer. Minor nicks, dings, and surface wear are visible throughout. There is a slight variation in color between the two cabinets as seen in front and back photos.
