Early 20th Century Louis XV Style Burlwood Writing Desk with Leather Top

Early 20th century Louis XV style writing desk crafted in burlwood. The desk features the original green leather writing surface with a gold embossed border.
The form stands on tall cabriole legs and includes three drawers. Decorative brass mounts and pulls are present throughout, including detailed faces reminiscent of Bacchus.
The desk is freestanding with finished detailing on the back, including matching carved elements and trim (note backside is finished with no drawers).
The central drawer lock functions with key. Veneer shows some bubbling and minor cracking, with additional separation at seams consistent with age. Scratches and nicks are visible, particularly along the legs.
The desk has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. Typical age-related scuffs and scratches seen along leather work surface.
