19th century Swedish sideboard crafted in pine with a unique storage configuration.
The top includes three drawers, while the left section presents as drawers but functions as a cabinet door. The right side includes two functioning drawers. The central cabinet opens to reveal an interior shelf.
The original painted surface has been heavily scraped and distressed, with faint residual tones of light blue and teal visible across the top and front.
The top shows evidence of old repairs and filled separation. Age-related wear including nicks, scratches, cracks, and gouges are visible throughout, along with minor signs of old dry wormholes (non-active).
The piece has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. The surface presents a raw, aged patina typical of the Swedish countryside. At only 16" deep, it may also serve as a narrow console.
