Pair Late 19th Century Swedish Gustavian Gray Painted Armchairs

Pair of late 19th century Swedish Gustavian armchairs crafted in pine. The chairs feature fluted carved detailing throughout the back, arms, and skirt.
They rest on four turned, fluted, tapered legs, each topped with simple floral carving.
The gray painted finish has been lightly scraped and distressed, revealing natural pine beneath and adding depth consistent with age.
The chairs have been newly upholstered in green gingham linen along the back, seat, and arms. This is easily changed at buyer's discretion.
The pair has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. Typical cracks, scratches, and minor age-related separation at the joints are visible and reflect generations of use.
