Early 19th Century Swedish Gustavian Gray Painted Bench Settee

Early 19th century Swedish Gustavian bench or settee crafted in pine. The bench retains an original blue-gray painted finish that has been lightly scraped, revealing natural wood beneath and creating a soft aged patina.
Decorative elements include egg and dart carving along the top rail, fluted detailing along the side rails, and tapered feet. Finials accent each of the four corners.
The seat has been newly upholstered in linen with matching bolster cushions.
The bench is restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this timeless bench.
