Late 18th Century Danish Pine Original Blue Painted Chest of Three Drawers

Late 18th century Danish chest of three drawers crafted in pine. The chest retains its original blue painted finish with faded red trim and residual floral decoration visible across each drawer.
The form reflects Rococo styling with gently curved drawer fronts. Each drawer is fitted with decorative brass pulls.
The painted surface shows significant age and wear, with areas rubbed down to the natural pine beneath, creating a soft, aged patina.
The chest has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. All wear is consistent with age and does not impact function.
Old cracks are visible along the top and sides, with nicks and gouges present throughout, particularly along the feet and lower edge of the top drawer. Signs of old, inactive wormhole activity are visible, most notably along the back.
