This rococo large chest of four drawers features a serpentine front and is raised on large bun feet.
Restored, later professionally painted in layered shades of black and lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this dresser. Crafted in both oak (front) and pine, in the traditional method of the era and region.
This commode has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers are in working order. The interior drawers have age related separation/cracks along bottom typically seen in large chests of this era.
Each drawer has two large circular brass pulls and a keyhole cover; locks no longer function.
All scratches, cracks, dings, old dried worm holes, stains and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large chest of four drawers.
