19th century Chinese altar console table crafted in elm. The table features three drawers with high relief carved detailing and brass ring pulls.
The form includes a traditional altar table silhouette with curved legs and shaped skirt. The base retains its original red painted finish, while the drawers present in contrasting darker tones with green and red undertones. 
The top in contrasting brown shows cracks and scratches from use. The painted finish along the legs shows distress, including crackling and minor loss (which is somewhat difficult to see in the photos due to lighting).
The table has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use.
