Late 19th century Swedish sideboard crafted in pine. The cabinet features a newer professionally applied black painted finish, lightly distressed to reflect the age and character of the piece.
Traditional Swedish carved fluted diamond motifs accent the two upper drawers and two cabinet doors. The side columns are also fluted, and carved panel detailing surrounds both doors.
The key and lock function but operate stiffly and inconsistently; the buyer may choose to use the key as a pull only.
Typical age-related cracks, nicks, and small gouges are visible throughout. One side shows evidence of older repaired separation.
The cabinet has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use.
