Late 18th century Portuguese console table. Crafted in chestnut wood, the table features highly turned legs on a trestle base, with additional decorative carving at the top, aorund drawers and skirt. Traditional brass accents include hanging knobs on the three drawers, along with additional brass details at the lower corners of the legs, including filigree and finial accents. All three drawers are functioning. The table is freestanding, and the backside is designed with faux drawer relief, allowing it to sit well in the room. Restored strong, stable, and ready to use. Scratches, scuffs along the top, nicks and some staining reflect generations of use.
