18th century Portuguese console table crafted in chestnut with a single drawer.
The table features traditional Portuguese carving along the drawer and front skirt. The chestnut wood displays a deep, aged patina developed over centuries of use.
The top shows significant wear, including cracks, gouges, nicks, stains, and other surface distress. The legs remain solid and stable, though evidence of old repairs, much distress and signs of old, dried wormholes are present (no longer active).
The table has been restored and is stable, ready to use. The overall condition reflects over 250 years of use and contributes to its character.
