18th century Portuguese chestnut drop leaf dining table which may also serve as a console. This form includes a single drawer on each end, turned legs, 2 gate legs, and a trestle base. The base is highly distressed from old dried worm hole activity throughout. Please note this is no longer active, but contributes to the very distressed appearance and authenticity of the piece. The top reveals cracks, stains, nicks, gouges, and old repairs to cracks and other areas of distress. This table will best suit someone who appreciates the visible age and passage of time found in an early piece. Restored stable and ready to use.
